We'd probably see a severe spike in the number of reports. Well, in mine at least.
Literally the one factor that has the greatest impact on your number of deaths, and I'd be willing to bet any kind of money that only ~15% of the playerbase is even aware that this skill matters. For god's sake people, use some fucking common sense.

Reporting people who are unskilled is almost the same as telling them to stop feeding - it doesn't do anything to stop them from feeding, and will probably just tilt them even more.

I don't mind if people aren't as good as me. What I mind is the people who don't care enough about themselves or their teams to improve on their knowledge. The people who are so apathetic about the game that they might as well not be playing at all.
People who play for fun don't bother me. People who play for fun and ALSO play stupidly bother me.

I'm talking about normals here, not ranked. Why does everyone automatically default to thinking about ranked as the "standard" mode in this game? Normals are just as important as ranked when it comes to making smart decisions.

For easy translation, substitute "they would be in BV if they played ranked" for "bronze V".

Serevas2 votesDude I know, I had a game the other day where I literally danger pinged the path of the enemy jungler and mid laner, while they were in full vision on the mini map, towards our top laner, and he still died in the middle of his lane and blamed me for not following when I was on the bottom side of the map.
I always forget the jungler's job is to save people from themselves.

When free wards first got introduced, i was also used to forget to drop them. When it wasn't free, i was used to buying a green ward, but when i forget, i don't over-push. I keep farming and i pray that i can find a reason to press B sooner.
Players who play with ash, they don't ever forget to cast their E, but for some reason, they don't even ward which is almost the same thing: both are used for vision.

Isn't that pretty much how elo works? The least skilled and/or knowledgeable players are SUPPOSED to be the ones in low elo. So the system is working.

If you had read the window that appeared when you hovered the mouse over it, you would have seen that the only thing the Unskilled report category did was to slightly reduce the MMR of the reported player IF there was a lot of Unskilled reports, as a means of letting the system know that the player had somehow reached a far higher MMR than their gameplay should have resulted in.
It was never a reportable offense in the same sense as hate speech or intentional feeding.

L Psy Kongroo1 votesYou know, I just realized this option could just be replaced with "never looks at the minimap". Because that's the real cause of getting caught out 99% of the time. No one looks beyond what's right in front of their faces, so they never realize "oh hey, their mid and jungle are missing, we should probably stop pushing bot". No one sees how barren of vision the screen is because the minimap is invisible to them, just like the wards in their inventory.
I think it's time we had the minimap cover half the screen. Maybe then people would pay attention to things other than what's going on in their little world.

Sylvant1 votesthis is more of a sign for a bad player(unskilled) and its a matchmaking issue to queue unskilled players where they dont belong. Both parties are in decline, the good players loosing the game because of the bad player and the bad player loosing a game simply because he faces players out of his league. A report button could be useful in 1 direction- to address this issue so the matchmaking adjusts.
