What Janna's winrate really means

The once, current, and future queen of winrate Janna currently sits atop her throne. A lot of people wonder why that is and what it means about the game. How did Janna of all champions become OP? Well, it means 2 things. There's an obvious answer and a deeper one.

The obvious answer: item 3301 is probably a little too good right now.

However, there is a much more deeper and profound meaning to all this. A shocking truth that once I reveal it will rattle the very core of the game. Janna is one of the least frustrating champions in the game to play against, yet here she is as one of the best right now. She can't initiate. She can't make picks very easily. She's got no damage. She can't heal without using her ult. She's not a tanky pile of meat. So what is it about her?

You see, in that simple unassuming package she's got the most powerful ability of them all.

Janna's kit has the One Ring of abilities in LOL.

What is that ability? It's pretty simple: YOU ARE SURROUNDED BY BAD PLAYERS IN JUST ABOUT EVERY GAME YOU PLAY, PARTICULARLY IN YOUR PROMOS, AND BEING ABLE TO SAVE THEM FROM THEMSELVES AS A SUPPORT WITHOUT HAVING TO HURT YOURSELF OR HOPE THEY CLICK A LANTERN IS BROKEN.

So, the real problem here isn't that Janna is good. The real problem is that everyone is so bad to the point that saving them from their badness trumps everything else in the game right now. So I'd like to suggest that riot would buff the entire playerbase so we aren't bad anymore. At that point, Janna would no longer be needed.
