Anyone else feel like placements are absurdly unbalanced atm?
I actually feel like I cant win. Last season I was plat 2 and now im struggling in g4. It feels like its a stomp because theres one person who definitely shouldnt be in the same mmr.

Luck factor. If you get bad placements, youre put well below what your actual rank really is. Went from g2 to B2 (bronze 2), and Im having to reclimb, currently sitting at s2 due to piss poor placement trolls. A lot of people are still in placements too meaning they could be former mid to low silvers who have been reset, and get placed into your match because of how badly your placements went. I personally think Riot does it on purpose for sinister reasons, but eh, im addicted so it's whatever.

Yea I noticed the same thing I was G3 last season, I'm getting flat out destroyed in S3 right now, it's averaging out to 2 wins for like 8 loses.
yeah i had a juicy 28-31% winrate for my 1st 20 games. now im 43%. absolute elo hell down here lmfao
During the weekend in the first month of ranked it's going to be a literal nightmare, you have all the people who log on just on weekends to try and grind out enough games in taht short time just to hit G4 then not play again and the enemy teams constantly have duos of one smurf trying to boost their friend/little brother/girlfriend etc
during the week is much better, but the game is still unnecessary hard during the first month duo to the launch players not quitting yet.

I peaked Dia2 last Season. D3 in preseason. Today I had 35% winrate in 40 games in Plat4.
I play Voli Jungle otp and I think it's because it's a champ that is more dependent on his team than other Juggernauts who can solo carry 1v9.
Mental boom players in that elo a lot.
The entire game is a cesspit of bad decisions and incompetence.
You're all being placed below the unranked master race. Seems to be working to me. ;p
Yeah.. Games around Gold are a mess... Gold to Diamond all open for the table. Too much mixing of people from different skill level. Too slow in skipping ranks or demoting at that.
Gold 4 games for some LP vs former Diamond 3... When that is you peak elo... Sure I long to have a 3 division struggle to just get to the same elo I will play against to get to it...
Worse if you win too many game will downgrade your team or start to give even better players if you get to rank-up... With means your climb wont be fast... Your ladder just got 2-3 times longer...
But if you loose too much... that will be a nice, f-up struggle, your MMR will be f-up before you even get to start the real climb...
Honestly feel that riot slapped us with a Hard reset with out telling any one.
I went from plat 4 to plat 3 in the off season and now I can’t win a game in silver 1. Regardless the fact my last 3 games I’ve had afks. There is no skill in this game of objectives and it’s just kill them then take objectives. Then oh your ahead let’s just snowball without an option for the losing team to come back. I don’t know how you can play consistently when your behind as adc it pretty much translates to an auto loss since games don’t last long enough for you to ever come back in.
