Well, At Least It's Consistent (Open Question to Riot)

Every time I hit Silver 2 promos, I'm suddenly matched with self-proclaimed diamond smurfs on the enemy team (and yeah, they play like it). I'm suddenly matched with double the usual amount of scripters I see in my games.

And on my team, I'm suddenly matched with nihilistic farm-only junglers "because why try, gg next," and people who int when their first gank fails. I'm matched with awful, toxic people.

If there's any Rioter browsing the boards right now, do you have any input on why matchmaking suddenly cranks every disparity Up To Eleven at exactly Silver 2 promos? Is it because Silver 2 is the half way point for skill in League? Is it artificial gating? It's frustrating and I could really use a word from on high.

Incidentally, I know you don't want to share details in case people use it to cheat your system, but have your new anti-cheat measures had any success since implementation? Because from this side, it feels like there's been more scripters since then, not less.

So I looked you up on Op.gg and your issue lies with:

  1. You're dying too much
  2. Your CS/Min needs you be @ 7.0+/min You average 7 deaths a game. That's a lot. About 3 more than I have per game. And your CS/Min is avg at about 5.5. So you're losing gold by not farming better, and you're giving more gold to enemies by dying more. And if you're dying a lot, you need to work on positioning. Also. Chose 1 role and play that. Fill players low elo won't work for you. I climbed to Gold with Sivir in 8.11-8.12 when ADCs were ass. Work on those few things and you'll climb :D

Every season I just get to gold usually under 100 games for the rewards and park there, not sure whats my true ELO/MMR. Ive found that the later you go in the year the lower quality of allies you get, so if you really think that you should be playing at a higher MMR then you should push hard early in the season when the previous season Golds are back in Silver, while later in the year you'll be paired with those who are more hardstuck

Smurfs and scripters really arent as rampant as everyone claims them to be, a lot of it looks like you playing improperly that lets them get ahead. Your biggest issue is building dumb shit nearly every game like AP sion mid, glass cannon "support" annie, damage sona, IBG panth, nashors rumble, tank nami etc. then dying A LOT. You arent even building for that champ's scaling or to hit their power spikes which really kills the power in the champ and really just makes you an ATM for the enemy team where they can mostly just ignore you and kill you whenever they want. Means you arent carrying.

You wont win lane often when you go down troll build paths yet you're blaming the opponent as if theyre the problem. Drop your ego and excuses, actually learn the game and it'll improve your rank. Right now people at your rank dont need to script to dunk on you with all the advantages you're giving them
