It Would Be Nice to Have an MR Option for Grievous Wounds

We have options for AP, AD and Armor, so it stands to reason that we could round out the set with an MR item. With a lot of people complaining about Mordekaiser's performance with Conq (myself included) it would give tanks a way to lane against him, since most of them can't build Bramble Vest to mitigate his damage when he's AP and only seldom autoattacks, and also usually can't build Executioner's or Morello without trolling.

I feel like an MR version of Thornmail that reflects damage based on ability hits would be cute, but there are a lot of other ideas that could have potential. A Grievous Wounds version of Abyssal Mask that gives less stats is also an option, or an MR build of Bami's. It's something to think about at least.

Magic Thornmail could be fine.

Grievous Wounds needs to be cut back on.

Balance healing around the assumption that GW isn't going to be there, and let it exist on a couple of champions as a niche mechanic.

You know what the worst part is? Hi-Rez has already done the answer Riot is looking for with Greivous Wounds.

There's an Anti-Heal item for every style - AD, AP / AR, MR The offensive anti-heals are stronger (-45% Healing) while the defensive anti-heals are weaker (-25% Healing) because the defensive are auras.

We need more MR options in general. I'm sure you've noticed that a lot of the champions people complain about are AP. Ex Ekko , Fizz , Mordekaiser , Cassiopeia

I don't think as a Tank you're ever supposed to be able to match a Juggernaut in a 1v1. That's not your role in the game.

We definitely need new Mr items. With how strong Mages are rn Mr items fall behind. We need stronger options. I can go full mr and I'll still get blown by Mages unless I'm sth like gakio who's entire concept is to counter ap.

Thornmail but mr, i thought about this before, but i never really thought it would work, like would it reflect a % of dmg back after every spell? or every time your hit would do dmg in an aoe? its good in name but in practice, not so much

I've seen someone put up a suggestion about this before. They called it mirror mail and of course it got down voted to hell. boards just can't make up their minds.

Seems pretty specific considering that spell vamp doesn't exist in the game anymore except for a single item, a single champion, and 2 runes.
