Yorick: Class/Subclass

Yorick currently has a very unique and compelling niche in the game. Going by the new classifications, he is the only existing primary-Juggernaut/secondary-Enchanter in the game. I think it would be an extreme shame if he were to lose his unique role and identity in the upcoming rework.

As we saw in the Mordekaiser rework, reworks that remove a champion's role and force them into different positions are not well received by their playerbase. Is there any focus on making the new Yorick appealing to current Yorick players? Is there an effort to make sure he remains viable in all of his current positions: top, jungle, and support? Will he keep his identity as the teamwork-oriented/Enchanter Juggernaut?

With Yorick's rework planned for the near future, it would be great if we could get some official communication on the current plan. The radio silence makes this a pretty scary time for Yorick mains. I am personally okay with changes to make him less frustrating (better ghoul hitboxes, tweaked cooldowns, even less reliable poke/sustain, etc.) as long as they aren't at the expense of his flexibility and established identity.

The Yorick rework has been among the longest planned reworks, and I think that the developers have learned a lot about what can make a rework successful or a failure since the Yorick rework was put into planning. So, please, communicate about Yorick and be cautious not to destroy his identity. With an ideal rework, you can keep Yorick's existing playerbase while giving him wider appeal. I think that keeping his unique class/subclass is going to be really important for making that a success.
