When are we gonna nerf Quinn?

KoKoboto··4 votes·855 views

She has had an 53% average winrate over the last 5 patches and currenlt is sitting at a 55% winrate, this trend looks like it isn't gonna change anytime soon either. She's super toxic to play against in top lane and that is where her winrate comes from. You can try to shut her down in lane but often she'll just ult somewhere else and delete someone because she just has insane burst damage. She doesn't require high level of skill either, landing her Q does bring outplay potential but often people use it just for damage and it does high amounts of damage.

What are we waiting for Riot?

I have a better question OP.

"When are we gonna see a Quinn skin?"

Buff Jax please1 votes

I agree...braindead champion picked by people who dont understand lane mechanics and still wanna win.

Wait wait wait wait wait.

Jax player.

Complaining about a squishy AA heavy champion.

Who autowins lane vs any champion by rightclicking them from 550 range.

Lol, that is a gross oversimplification. Also, her attack range is 525.

I guess people only read the title.

She doesn't need a nerf. She's a top lane bully for melee champion but then gets outscaled later in the game and provides no real CC, tankyness or initiation for her team in fights.

Also her win rate comes from an extremely small player base and is affected by the fact that she currently counters some of the stronger top laners.

The problem is she bullies laners so hard that the game doesn't even reach late game. She is not only oppressive to her opponent in lane but to the whole map with her ult having no cooldown. You would think that because of this you could take all the towers in her lane but as mentioned before, due to her ult cooldown she usually ends up back in lane by the time you get the wave to tower. Only strong pushing champions can really abuse this. Also you gotta ask yourself "do I really wanna push", because if Quinn catches you at her tower the lead she has gotten from bullying and roaming will often mean you're dead. The argument that she has a small player base is also weak especially if we look at games played. It only takes a few games (3~15) to "master" Quinn for the average player because her kit is quite simple. Also the highest level of play isn't even needed in order to pull off Quinn, she point click burst is easy to pull off and she kills targets immensely fast.

So you are asking Riot to nerf a champion that has a 1.4% pick rate? Lol

Yes, the reasons I stated easily outweigh the low pick rate.

lmao ... NO ! next...?

Nice argument, I take it you and everyone else here except that one guy mains Quinn?

This thread is the exact reason why Riot rarely ever listens to what we want nerfed. Doing anything to Quinn in her current state would drop her play percentage below 1%. But I guess you don't care about that because it would mean a less chance that you get stomped by one right? Lol.

Let me explain something to you, it's an easy concept. The 1% of people playing Quinn right now are Quinn mains, they know how to play her well. That's why her win rate is higher than 50%. You should know by now that Quinn top is a counter to melee fighters, it's simple. So if you get counter picked you're likely going to lose lane. But quinn also has no escape, and is inherently squishy, so ask for ganks if you get countered. Inform your mid laner to ward, and place wards yourself to stop her roaming.

Listen dude, just because you lost lane doesn't mean something is OP. Your ego is hurt and you're tilted, relax a bit and analyze your own mistakes instead of opting out to "Quinn is OP because she face rolled my team".

It doesn't take a ton of time to become a Quinn main, she has a very straight forward easy to use kit. The ONLY thing that the average player would have to get used to is awkward auto attacks and that doesn't take very long. She is squishy but she is also ranged meaning that she's not gonna be tanking damage. Her vault slightly knocksback her target and puts her at max range so she DOES have escapes. Even then she has her W to make sure an area is clear when she doesn't have any wards up. Melee fighters often make up the meta right now so as soon as they use a gap closer Quinn can easily vault, cancel it often, and be safe. By the time she gets level 6 the chance to bully her down is lessened as she will start roaming around the map like crazy. Vision is a good point but for Quinn it's not a large issue, unless she is timing a roam play by waiting you will often be onto the enemy before they have time to react to seeing her on the map because of her high movement speed. Also if you think the whole 1% of players are Quinn mains you're wrong, she has a relatively even amount of amount of games played. Five players played her five times and another five players player her five times, regardless of amount of times played she retains a high winrate. If you want to make the argument that playrate is the cause of high winrate pick a more skill required champion like Azir.

See that opening point you made is quite funny to me, mostly because it doesn't take long to main anything really. Even the more "difficult" champions become very easy once you put a little bit of time into it. Her high win rate is the result of experienced players playing her, and the fact that games are ending very early right now, so her early game dominance ends games before the meta melee champs can scale. There is nothing in her kit that would be justified if it get nerfed. I promise you that nothing will be done to her anytime soon.
