Why Is This Game So Hard
Haven't won a single game since I lost my promo to Silver 2, good lord... 6 losses in a row?
This game is just too hard.

This game is just too hard.
Just stop for 1-2 weeks. When you are on a loss streak sometimes it goes on.
There is really no reason for it. It just happens. Taking a break won't reset anything (supposedly). But just losing and constantly losing isn't good. So take a break and relax. Find yourself later.
Your options are 1 stop playing for a bit or 2 start playing with a duo so you can have 2 people you think are good in a game then it's only 3 randoms
Because like many good and competitive games there are many complex variables (for a lack of a better term) to master. The way to excel in any competitive contest is mastering the basics by repetition.
Most of us are not willing to put in hours of CS practice, and hours of game review, and creating a detailed action plan to correct our weaknesses.
It depends the most on taking ownership in your own part of a loss. And having the drive and passion to put in many hours to improve.
Then it's hours of practicing correct technique do develop that 2nd nature so you don't have to waste time thinking about last hitting (one example), or making correct decisions about when to engage and when not to.
Then there is understanding the capability of the champions you play relative to this you face, including but not limited to builds and counter builds.
Then mastering your understanding of the nature of the lanes you don't play in relation to your lane and using that to make better decisions.
After all that (and I obviously glossed over a ton of things above) then comes putting that to good use with 4 strangers! Hell, it's hard enough to utilize your mastery with teamsters you know!
Lastly, and it something that you can't master but the pros can, is scouting your oponents games. Since we are not pros we have no way to come up with custom strategies based on analysis of our opponents strength and weaknesses.
The best we could hope for (after all the rest is mastered) is to make educated guesses based on direct experience of our games and how a typical Tryn or riven will build and play.
Let's assume you master all this. You can't possibly communicate your mastery to strangers.
That's what I think makes this game difficult. I imagine some of this can be mitagated by creating a 5 man team in real life and playing every day.
Many people are unwilling to put in the time it will take for mastery. Many think the can play casually and by some sort of magic just be good.
Ask yourself are you willing to put in the hours to achieve x rank?
