PSA to help "give teammates advice"

If they literally are not getting a single farm due to opponent/jungle, and standing BEHIND their turret,

Telling them to "play safer" and "quit feeding" won't help.

Try offering a lane swap or roaming to help, nebulous "the sky is blue" advice does not help!

Quit feeding and I'll carry you.

Is that better?

"Stop feeding"

As much as I think uncontrolled deaths are shameful and you really have no excuse

Just telling someone "dont die" is not gonna help

If they don't get that they can't win the lane after 2 or so deaths, then they aren't going to do much better in another lane.

It is better to tell people to play safer. You need to remind them that it is a team game, and hopefully your jungler is one of the good ones that realizes counter pressure is so important. Whenever I lose lane I breathe a sigh of relief knowing that other lanes are doing fine. That means I have a chance to redeem myself.

If you lose lane it is not the end of the game and you can still make a comeback, but it will be the end if you keep trying to 1v1 that Riven you lost to twice in a row. Being camped isn't a valid excuse. If I find myself being camped I make sure to let my teammates know to push other parts of the map.

While you're farming under turret you should be thinking about how your build path is going to look now and how you will mitigate your loses.

I tell them I don't care how bad they get their ass beat in lane or what their cs is, just don't feed him tons of unnecessary extra gold. Usually if the stress of the ass-whooping and the fear of the incoming flaming they may receive is taken away they actually play better.
