@Riot: Player Base Data

I spent a decent amount of time trying to find the amount of players (of each Season) League of Legends had. I wanted to compare the data of Season 3 through Season 6.

However, I cannot find any updated information since 2014 January (the peak of League of Legends).

Riot, you talk about 'statistics', but I feel that you are so afraid to release said so statistics to the public? I sincerely want to know how many players quit in Season 6 compared to Season 5.

http://www.pcgamer.com/27-million-people-play-league-of-legends-every-day/ **Same story **

By July 2012, League of Legends was the most played PC game in North America and Europe in terms of the number of hours played.** As of January 2014**, over 67 million people played League of Legends per month, 27 million per day, and over 7.5 million concurrently during peak hours.

2 year old outdated information.** Rito, why are you hiding?**

Super Data Research shows that League is steadily growing, although I don't know how credible they are

The post is still almost a year old. But I really don't think total number of players is falling, if it were Riot wouldn't invest big money to reduce ping in EU and NA. Many old timers don't like changes, but well, they are replaced by fresh blood.

I'll definitely look more into it!

However, it is extremely difficult to find anything else similar or reliable. Going through pages and pages.

Absolutely.

Common sense. Also, the numbers should be allowed for public. Riot is claiming their new system is better, however, they don't have a solid proof behind their claim. I would like to see the numbers convince me.
