Is there any reason to buy Thornmail now?

Since the game is loaded with so much True Damage and no longer seems to counter champions like Yi anymore what is the point? It certainly doesn't have the health to justify building it.

Ummm...yes, since true damage isn't a 100% conversion, against AD heavy teams, would be dumb not to take on a bruiser or tank.

You buy thornmail for the healing reduction just as much for the armor. It will always be relevant.

There was never any reason to buy it unless you were playing Rammus or Malphite. Bramble vest is still nice for trading though.
