League has made some terrible businesses calls lately and only solve problems when they actually start to become a problem. I give some examples:
- Old Shen ult buff (reason why his rework was rushed)
- Ryze Rework(s): Every time he's out of controle in competive he suddenly gains priority despite still been a problem.
- Rushed reworks (shaco, fizz, rengar, akali, time and time again)
- The remove of the tribunal and the competition after it and the overal toxicity issue.
*!! The new player environment (leveling system, tutorials, bot ai, beginner champions, etc...)
But probably the worsed of all: Spaghetti code. The reason for:
- Unfixable bugs (sometimes fixable with more spaghetti)
- FPS issues
- Delayed content release (
and
right now)
- Mechanical limitations (they actually force it with spaghetti right now. They have become experts handling spaghetti coded into spaghetti lately)
- Black box rush: God the boards on release was bad so I thought it was an outside job. Than I saw the interface of the new rune system... And I realised they still have no idea what their doing. Small Indian Company.
The source code is known to be a problem for a few years now. Yet rather than investing on it's peak. We reached a point they eventually will have to rush it. A game isn't dead that easy. But hey Arcanists from Jagex is still alive as well...
The new player requirement follows the same patern. They invested into it way to late to a point it becomes a problem. If 5% of the - 30 accounts are non-smurfs it would be hugh.
