How does Kindred perform as an ADC? Also, could use some adc advice.

I want to main the adc role, and my adc pool isnt the biggest. I was saving up for rek'sai but I gave up on jungling, after failing miserably. I thought about Kalista, but everyone I have asked has said that she is pretty hard to learn. Then I thought about Caitlyn and Kindred. Are they good? And how does Kindred do as an ADC? I have seen her as a jungler quit a lot, and a few times as an Adc. Also, I could use some advice, on how to play as an adc and maybe you guys have some other suggestions on who I should buy.

When it comes to the adc role different champs fill different roles. Kindred can be played as an adc but she thrives best in the jungle as getting her passive stacks is made much easier through counter jungling. It has a 5 minute cooldown before you can place a mark on your lane opponent once you've claimed a mark on them. She also has fairly short range (500) and her ult can be awkward to use. She has a very smooth auto attack animation and it makes for easy farming but her abilities also have very poor ad scaling so the typical build paths for adc's aren't ideal for kindred.

If you are trying to get the feel for the role, Caitlyn is a much smoother starter pick. She has long range and can be a huge lane bully. Her kit is very well rounded and she's very safe on her own with built in escapes.

Oh and about Kalista, if you wanted to pick her up I'd say go for it and practice using her hop passive in a few not games. She's a ton of fun to play and a rather strong pick

If you want a personal suggestion, I wouldn't waste IP on any champion before playing them. Yes, Caitlyn is a good ADC, but if you don't like her then you're out 4800 IP and still have no ADC, you know? Just play some free week champions until you find one you like.

She works better as a mid, imo. A lot of the currently popular mids lose their burst combos to her ultimate at 6. She has great sustain, poke and can freely roam from mid to collect marks.

Caits really good right now, and a really straightforward ADC, so she's good to learn the role on, I definitely recommend picking up caitlyn.

Kindred is the opposite, she's a pretty mediocre adc due to her short range and lack of scaling, she's all about getting her stacks which is really hard to do when your stuck farming bot lane for 10-15 minutes. Still not impossible, my gf plays it, but you ussually need a premade squad to play around it,

I definitely recommend cait out of any other adc, and good tip for playing adc that'll carry you a long way, is learning how to attack move (or "A-click") this helps you kite, orb walk, and always stay at your max range so you don't move towards your opponent as your attacking them (which can get you killed) look up a guy named phylol on youtube, he can explain it much better then I can

Kindred is on par with Kalista for difficulty level. And Kalista is built for adc in bot lane, Kindred is built for adc in jungle, playing Kindred as laning adc because Kalista sounds too difficult is not very good logic. Out of the 2, just play Kalista. Or start with something even more simple like Ashe, Jinx or Tristana.

Want a good ADC? Tristana and you get her and her Riot Girl Skin for free. So you can keep your IP for Rek'sai

before all the adcs got buffed she was actually amazing and in my opinion a better bot lane adc then jungler, however now she has trouble with most match ups, and if you need a tank killer, vayne is the better option.

So yeah kindred is mid or jungle or gtfo. (the reason she can play mid, is for shes a safe laner who can simply afk farm but easily turn on the harrass and kill pressure the moment you see it possible with her dashes and slow)
