Riot why should i take Tanks now? How can i tank 45% armor pen..?
Cant you guys balance something for once? What were you thinking when you Buffed the ad items even more? tanks are useless now... how long are you going to ignore this issue?

And it's BONUS armor pen. I think you need something like 540 armor for the new last whisper to even be equal to the old last whisper

satanasourusrex1 votesdudes with only a frozen heart and a warmogs most champs that fit the tank meta are considerably powerful. example as taric more often than not with just these two defense items one can push directly up mf's ult and laugh at the damage. did this just a few days ago (tho with volibear) and their mf had two levels and considerable amounts of build on on me but from full hp her ult took me down to circa 1/4 hp but with her equalizer down and only a heal left in her summoner spells she stood no chance of taming the wild beast. sounds to me like someone needs to dodge every now and then. no harm in not taking a bullet if its going to hit nothing, or using a minion as a shield while you position yourself for the dive.

Riot's goal is for tank stats to give 50% or less effectiveness and AD items to give 250% effectiveness. AD Carries are what it's all about.
Strawberrycocoa1 votesRemember, a Tank's job is about more than soaking damage. A Tank's job is to dive in and disable the enemy team and/or eat tower fire long enough for allies to swoop in and nuke them. You only need to live long enough to fulfill that purpose. Plus, if the enemy Marksmen is auto-ing you, they aren't auto-ing your assassin ally who can only eat 1 or 2 Marksmen autos instead of the 7-8 you can eat.
