Bye, Anivia
I'll miss your only reliable damage.
I'll miss your only reliable damage.
Bye, Anivia.
You won't be missed.
Oh,you mean dmg without counterplay? im not gonna miss it.Bye!
What do you mean, she still has her e point and click - you just can't essentially cheat the point of her mechanics by dropping r and instantly doubling the power of the e. You have to actually land your q or they have to stick around in your r until it hits full power.
Making her, you know, a zoning champion like she is supposed to be instead of a burst mage who happens to have a ton of utility and dps too.
Many players saw the Anivia updates, assuming this would harm her performance.

"Bye, Anivia. You won't be missed." They said. Little did they know that even though her instant no skill R+E combo is not not even worth casting, everything else about her has been buffed and is now better than ever, allowing an experienced Anivia player to focus on positioning, team play, and fully securing kills rather than quick R+E bursts that may or may not positively secure a kill. (take a look at this sorry fucker here for example: http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/gameplay-balance/Ww89YtvR-just-played-the-new-anivia-its-time-to-take-out-the-trash)
Here's a screenshot of my match history since the update: https://postimg.org/image/5aafergmr/ (notice the 23/2/10) all around the same game lengths. You can view my match history here (http://matchhistory.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-history/NA1/234182282) to view my Anivia games before the patch, and though I've gone 30+ kills/0 before, my performance since the update has been arguably better than ever.
Sorry Anivia haters, she's stronger than ever and I'm going to deeply, deeply, passionately enjoy smacking you around while watching my win rate rise. I don't know why you hate on the chicken so much, given that out of the 46% of summoners that own Anivia, only 1.8% of those have mastery 7 with her. Which means 0.0046% of players frequently play the champion. On top of this, Riot, and high elo players agree that though her kit may seem simple, she is a high skill cap champion. Especially more so after the most recent update, forcing players to focus on landing skill shots, and locking down kills with R+Q+W+E. You may have been able to escape with 30 HP before, but there's no getting away from the 6.23 Ice Chicken.
Toxic champions like Yasuo, Syndra, and Orianna should all arguably be dealt with first by priority, given the fact that Yasuo for example has consistently seen play rates of 25-35%, ban rates up to 70%, and win rates up to 58%. You all just don't want to talk about that because the only champions that can consistently hold a fight with these champions are champions like Anivia, Viktor, Cassiopeia, etc. (Which all have what in common? You guessed it! High skill caps, and low play rates!)
There is no "Bye Anivia" After the 6.9 Updates, everyone said that was the end of Anivia (when they initially changed her ultimate) and then in 6.19 after the recent E nerfs, they said she was done, and now with this update, you say the same. The constant in the equation is: every update, every nerf, every time she's "dead" Anivia mains like myself are still kicking ass. Here is her full patch history to back this shit up: http://lol.gamepedia.com/Anivia_-_The_Cryophoenix#Patch_History
So fuck you.
Sincerely,
Ice Chicken & every other Anivia main that's gonna kick your ass in lane until Anivia inevitably catches more nerfs, even though Annie has a much faster burst window, and a much higher win rate, but that's another rant for another update.
birdbrain freelo. gubye
~~her winrate hasn't changed at all xd ~~
disregard xd bye bye cancerbird
Nobody likes to play against this point and click trash champ, deserved nerf that should have been done years ago
