Punish Toxic/Trolls/AFKs Harder in Ranked

It's solo que, and everyone runs into Trolls and AFKs. And the fact that everyone runs into them means people aren't scared to do so.

Yes, this is another thread complaining about teammates, but this game's community really needs drastic improvement. People trolling and leaving games, especially in ranked, are far too frequent. Why is this problem still running so rampant?

Especially on my games as of late, I'm honestly back in a position of wondering why I play ranked. I enjoy playing League, but holy shit does this game's community push me back away each time. What is being done at the moment to discourage this kind of behavior?

You have to remember that not everyone has the greatest Internet, let alone that ISP are always reliable. You have to put into account that maybe the person leaving the game isn't doing so intentionally. And while it's not an excuse (in my opinion) it's sadly what's going to happen when you play an online game!

With that said you also have to put into account that it may not even be the player or their ISP as well. The client isn't the greatest and have always had problems (Bugsplat errors) so along with the player not being at fault, it could very well be the client itself, and sadly Riot is the only one who can fix that side of the problem.

To be honest ther really is nothing they can do. We have LeaveBuster, but more often than not people will just go on a smurf and do the same thing. This is also going to happen if you ban the account. Since this is a free to play game they really can't do anything to solve the problem. Unless there was a way to stay in a game even after your internet crashes, or can stop terrible lag, all of which cannot be known till you actually get into a game is just impossible to make!

I leave games when my support flames me, sits under tower, uses no abilities, and then feeds intentionally. Sorry but there is a time to afk. I'd rather get excercise then deal with whiny children.

Sometimes there is nothing you can do, and i've stopped caring. I'm not playing a 60 min game that we are going to lose. This could all be fixed if we could surrender at 10 mins.

I'd like to see loot for people who don't AFK. You have x games without an AFK? You are eligible for a chest or key. It would encourage people not to AFK and would give someone something for not doing it.

I have been playing league ranked queue for two years now and i have ran into my fair share of trolls and afk's. I have taken breaks many times from this game and have always come with a positive outlook. Lately i have been running into more and more rage quitters and early game afk's after they die 1 or two times. The remake system does not resolve this and is very frustrating that those players choose to leave after the designated time to remake. In my last game i had and early game disconnection and after a minute my bot lane adc starts to whine to everyone about how "We lost", "Open Mid GG" and more negative talk. By doing so he started to type more than play and because of that he dies multiple times in a row. He then left the game after saying some very hateful speech to us and came back as the enemy team was destroying our nexus. This experience has really crushed my last bit of hope for league of legends because i feel that no one at Riot really cares about there low tier ranked divisions and they only really care about platinum and above. I like league of legends a lot and is a very fun and competitive game but when players are toxic, troll, and afk almost every 9/10 games you play, it starts to get to you. And when you report someone afterwards it doesn't feel like anything will really happen. That player will just queue up again and continue to spread their rain of hate on other players. There needs to be stricter ranked punishments and the team that is in charge of managing the toxicity in this game needs to be more aggressive with there decisions. Hopefully this will be read by someone at Riot and they will take into consideration what i said but i doubt it because they probably see me as another ranter.
