So, I participated in 17/22 of the kills in my game. How does that warrent an A-, when I had the second highest gold on my team.

Shouldn't kill participation and deaths be worth more than more kills total?

Well, it includes wards and CS along with maybe turret damage/kills.

15/0/11 with above average cs and 80% turret participation is an S+ for Zac if you were wondering.

its really hard to get S's on zac for some reason. i have gone 12/2/18 and get an a+. but i can go 8/2/8 on ekko and get a S

CS, Warding, ect are also looked at in the system as it's not all about KDA, so you'll need to try more :)

Easiest way to get S on Zac is to do solo lane Zac. Sorry...
