He doesn't need great things, he seems weak sometimes because he is a spot champ, the strongest in his spot, but not very flexible. He e is ok, great damage, good CC, maybe the hitbox and the speed is very strange especially when you're close to the opponent, as if the hitbox departed from inside Rengar( or something that I never understand...in fact it's strange, I never know if I'll hit my target or if the animation will disappear by passing through). The only thing that could be weak is the 3 sec of delay ON a Ult if you are hit, It's an ult with a clear counterplay in a 1v1, I mean if rengar is hit why his ult should have 3 sec delay? The opponent could easily use a Pink or red Trinket.......and if the opponent would use a pink??? the ult will be useless even after 3 sec of delay....an ult of 150 sec.... Surely in the first stage of rengar's ult not miss the counterplay, maybe the second part hasn't so much counterplay, even if the ! For me it is enough. The balance team would do something with his w, which is poor ( in combo with the low early damage of the bolas) for the early clear of the jungle. Maybe giving a little sclale of ad ( 0.3-0.1) or increase damage to moster could help his early clear.
