League has devolved into a game of either countering your lane opponent or being countered yourself. Top lane is a complete joke atm. Pick Tryndamere before your opponent picks? They'll pick Teemo. Pick Riven? They'll pick Renekton. Pick Singed? Time for an impossible Vladimir matchup. It's a joke. Shame on your Riot for even allowing this to happen.

People can counterpick, but it depends if they have any experience with them. If I counter pick Teemo with pantheon but i never played pantheon before, then i will lose since their teemo will have more experience.

How does Riot prevent this? Release 120 of the same champ? Certain kits do well against others, it's the same with ANY game.
