So what you're saying is that it's "toxic" for OP to say he is playing an assassin jg but there is nothing wrong with the top laner doing the same thing.
In what world does that make sense?
What I am saying is his stance on he doesn't care if it causes a loss, and to hell with trying to be a Team Player because he wants it his way and that's the only way it will happen is Toxic.
How does that NOT make sense?
Nor did I say the Top Lane wasn't also at fault... but if the Top Lane picks before the Jungle, then the Top Lane has Priority on the Champion and Type, just not the Lane.
At this point, the Team can choose to work together and adjust things as they go... or they can refuse to be a team and fail.
He says he's 100% cool with simply failing instead of working as a Team. Yeah, that's Toxic.
Now if he is picking before Top and goes Assassin, and Top still goes Assassin, then that's Top being equally Toxic for not adjusting to the Needs of the Team.
Obviously, since Vayne requested that Jungle go Tank, Vayne had already picked and thus had Priority.
So yes, the stance of "I'm not changing for anyone regardless, we'll just eat a Loss" is pretty Toxic. Then to try to shift the blame on the Player who had Priority in Pick Order is just silly.
OP had the opportunity to cover the weakness of the Team, and chose not to. That was HIS decision. He should (and does) own Responsibility for that. As he said, he'd rather lose (so again, he DOES accept Responsibility for his Action).
That's absolutely a Toxic Stance. It doesn't exclude that Vayne Top from being Toxic, I never said it did. There can be more than 1 Toxic on a Team, after all. But this discussion isn't really about what Vayne did... it's how the OP responded to what Vayne did. He is responsible for his response.
