Traditional Ap mids losing their role

As title states, I feel like ap mid champs are mostly losing relevance. So many ad champs mid nowadays that wreck a majority of ap mids.

Ap mids normally cant function anywhere else. But feels like they can't keep up with the handful of ad mids. Hell I've even been seeing quinn mid lately and trashing AP's.

The odds are just stacked for ad champs.

Take the number of favorable matchup and itemization combinations vs ap, and compare it to favorable matchups and items vs ad, ad comes out on top.

I just am having a hard time enjoying playing ap mids.
