Mastery champion, finding a way for not punishing a team when they win to hard
Hi everyone
I don't know for you, but something start to trouble me these last days, something about mastery champion.
We all know that what is more important in this system is if your team win or lose the game (the grade being just there for what, 16 point more if you do better than your teammate) In this case, if you want to level up a champion, a win is what you need. But we also knew that all the win are not at same level of effectiveness. For fighting mastery farm with surrender option (normal thing, poeple always find a way to farm), riot decied to make the point earn with a surrender before 45 min (?, not sure of the time) far less than what you earn if you manage to destroy the nexus yourself (300 to 600 point difference). That implied that, if all the team play really good and take a very early advantage in kill, the odd are really high that, despise the succes, you will end up with a 20 min surrender who will not reflect how good your teamwork was (and worst scenario, they could also surrend just before you took the nexus down for whatever reason, punishing you for playing good)
In this particuliar case, maybe there is room for improvement. What if, when your team won by surrender, your mastery point was increase by 25/50 point x your personnal rank letter (D->S = 1->5 multiplier)
Maybe it's not a good thing to do that change (I'm not an anti farming bot specialist) but I'm really interested in what the community thought about the surrender point debuff, do you find it fair, unfair or just not balanced enought between regular win and surrender.
