Rengar's health regen is pathetic

Rengar: 4.27 hp per 5 at lvl 1, 11.1 at lvl 18 Irelia: 8.59 hp per 5 at lvl 1, 19,6 at 18 Yorick: 8.175 at lvl 1, 20.1 at 18 Renekton: 7.96 at lvl 1, 20.7 at 18 Warwick: 8.39 at lvl 1, 22 at lvl 18 Nunu: 8.39 at lvl 1, 22 at lvl 18 Maokai: 8.675 at lvl 1, 23.1 at lvl 18 Source: http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/List_of_champions%27_health_regeneration

Everyone of those other champions havebetter sustain than him in their kit, yet they have more HP regen per 5 and per level. With the new jungle shitting on Rengar, he really needs some help.

And only one of them has to sacrifice part of their power budget to heal. (Not counting renek because his regular Q heals, just not as much) edit: wait a sec renek manaless too

Was referring to Renek

His sustain was too high spamming empowered W, as you could get back roughly 225 hp after trading every 10 seconds

By comparison Irelia would have to autoattack 13 times with rank 3 hiten style active to heal the same amount, or 25 with the passive

I mean but at around level 5 (since rank 3 ) rengar heal would heal for 32 max hp and like 250 least hp. So unless he's already dead he isn't healing for that much.

225 is 50% hp at level 4

It only gets more silly from there, especially rushing CDR

Anyway, the point still stands that he doesn't have mana to hold back his spamming. I think the larger issue is how rapidly he can fire it off with some CDR, getting his CDs down to 4/10/8 with 20%

Mao does out sustain him so you've got me there, but he is still gated by mana to trade

There isn't the problem of spamming, because rengar's heal is based on missing healt, so if you have 60 % of your healt isn't worth use a heal for 40 hp when you may be vulnerable in lane without stacks

Mao really doesn't have mana issues anymore though, in my experience he spams all day and never runs out of mana. Also, if rengar is constantly having his abilities up, he's pushing hella hard, making him vulnerable to ganks. Drop a pink and gg rekt. + Maokai will have his heal up for free if Rengar gets his, meaning that Mao will have all his skills up while Rengar won't.

and what does maokai have to do to heal ? just stand in lane and compare the tankyness on top of the healing

i dont defend op's point but he gave us a valid argument

but i would like him to also compare the base hp's and tankyness of some bruisers vs rengar because i think that this guy is quite tanky while building dfull ad

When they rework Rengar to became a Bruiser, they have increased his hp for lv, but this isn't enough to define rengar a bruiser! I know Riven has a lower heath regen, but she has a shield that scales with ad. So In the rework where Rengar was trasformed in a bruiser ( for me He will be always an assassin) they forgot the health regen and yes, I know, He has a free healing spell, but was nerfed and it is based on missing healt so It will be right if they will buff his regen
