Can we stop the "don't be in my range" kit?

Funny, given that melee champions are the ones with that type of kit. In fact, isn't kiting a playstyle that constantly stays out of range of the opponent while dealing damage?

olaf has a way to damage from a long distance, or to close the gap with his ulti/Q

Darius has a no counter play damage spell, his Q can only be countered by being farther than 450 range same for his W, he can do nothing if you are farther than 450 range (can't grab).

ryze only weakness is his range which he can remove it by playing against melees.
