Tips for a plat1 heimer player?

I really want to become pro with this guy, I absolutely enjoy playing heimer, and I always have. However he seems very poor against good players, which I encounter in plat1. If i was to main heimer, should I go top or mid? I find top to be better as mid matchups tend to eat up your turrets easily. What Should I build? Any tips to improve and what to focus on for a good heimer? There's no updated guide about heimer, which is even worse :(

well according to other post on here your champ is in need of rework cuz he is oppressive to play against and offers no counter play and has a toxic kit.

and you have to be that .0001 % of players who are good enough to be pro... are you? only you will know
