What do you think will be the context for Galio nerfs?
"Galio has been plummeting in winrate at a good pace, so we're removing more of his tools so he continues to fail."

Skin sales for Galio are down
He's still a decent support pick, alongside with maoki. lol
"Galio has been pick ban in competitive for a while now, so we're taking away some of the extra power he has to make his allies tanky in coordinated play.
He'll still give damage mitigation and strong followup, but it's only half an Alistar ult on their diving Kha'Zix now."
Not anymore amigo... Look at his most recent LCS performance in the past weeks.
People NEED high damage dealers in the mid lane and the best top laners consist of Renekton, Kled, Shen, Jarvan, Cho'Gath, Mao'Kai... champions that do well in lane and start plays. After the nerfs to his Q he is no longer played...
Galio was played to huge success in 7.12, he has a 60% winrate mid and 70% winrate top. In 7.13 his Q got nerfed for good reason, way too much damage for a tank. 7.13 patch his winrate drops to 47% mid and 40% top lane
In our current patch 7.14 he has a 43% winrate mid and 60% winrate top. HOWEVER, that top lane winrate comes from challenger LCS, and challenger LCS is farcry from actual LCS.
He is no longer pick ban.
Doesn't mean they won't playtest nerfs on him just in case. They've been doing that to many champs and then pulling it from the Pbe just before the patch ends. I will be very surprised if both ult nerfs in addition to the E nerf make it through. They'll likely just do the ult cd nerf.
Yep it is just PBE. Let's hope these nerfs don't come out to live. Or at least let's hope they got more planned to balance out his kit. Removing power here, adding power there.
I've always felt that they would've nerfed the 40% base damage reduction by now and make it scale more with magic resist but here we are.
If the nerfs make it to live without compensation ima be depressed.
I think it was a nice rework
