So there are a new batch of Vayne changes on the PBE:
Silver Bolts (W) True damage lowered from 6/7.5/9/10.5/12% to 4/6/8/10/12% Minimum true damage increased from 40/60/80/100/120 to 50/65/80/95/110
I am perplexed. I thought Vayne's gameplay meant to be the ultimate tank buster. If so, why are you lowering the HP% and increasing the minimum? Is that only going to help her destroy squishies more easily?
Am I missing something or is this change just odd?
I understand the concern.
Really it seems to be hitting her early game. Currently on live, once you hit 6, you're almost guaranteed a minimal effort kill provided the lane is even or in your favor.
This change seems to tone down her early game pressure (For the attack speed maxing W builds) while keeping her maxed true damage stat the same. Honestly, the nerf really only seems to be very noticeable in the first levels until you're around 7 or 8, then it feels back to normal.
I think it's a fair change, but if they were going to nerf the early game of her W attack speed playstyle, they should have given her a tiny damage increase on Q for players who rush BF Sword (Those who max Q over W early on) - Would have made the balance between the two playstyles less in favor of W.
