Please respect the game I just played Riot

No I'm not talking about my last game I'm talking in general, when I play, do well, but the enemy ends up besting us (Or we have 3 afks) I'd like to know all the effort I just put in is respected, not just 250 champion mastery which is nothing, I understand they don't want it to be abused but 250? That's absolutely discouraging especially after I've put my all into something and done well, if I don't do well fair enough but Riot, champion mastery points for losses are at an extreme low and it's really not fair that the guy who go's 0/15 get's 1000 points, this really needs to be addressed...

The general idea is that people don't get carried a lot by luck even as 1/15/3 or something due to non KDA or measurable starts like zoning, split pushing, etc.

So the point of champion masteries is to encourage players to win more games as champions, not to go around KSing for the sake of mastery points.

Also, they don't even do very much.

It doesn't matter what kind of points you rack up in the match, if it didn't contribute to killing the Nexus then 25/0/0 and 0/25/0 are equal. The only point that matters is the Nexus kill, which is why you're not given much (if anything) for personal stats. That would just promote greedy gameplay that doesn't actually win games. It's the same concept as for why your personal stats don't reflect on your LP/MMR gains in Ranked.

Also, Riot expects the average player to win 50% of their games, and gain Mastery at a certain speed with that win rate. If they were to give the losers more Mastery points, they'd just take it off the winner's points to keep it even; that would just hurt people with 50% or above win rate and reward those that are losing.

If they didn't take it off the winner's points, but also did keep it fair, they'd simply increase point gains for both sides. That would make it fair to both now, but would increase the Mastery gain rate; this would be up to Riot if they want players to gain levels faster, but while fair, people would still complain about the disparity between the winning and losing sides (give people a hand and they want the arm).
