It's fine that yi can kill someone relatively quick, he's an assassin, but 2-shots is unacceptable.

Yi wasn't even fed (only 9/8/1) and was still able to q to me, then kill me in two autos. Can someone explain why this is allowed?

I don't think you understand what "fed" means. Yes he has 8 deaths. He also has effectively 10 kills. That's still a lot of gold for items. And he's insanely good at farming CS or jungle monsters, which is even more gold.

And I am guessing you were playing a squishy champion with no CC and got caught out by yourself.

I doubt it was a 2-shot. Also why didn't you just root him point-blank if he was literally on top of you after he used Q which means he can't escape it?

I did root him, died before I could get out of his auto attack range. Yes, it was a two shot. I saw it, he saw it.

He has a lot of kills. You do understand that dying doesn't remove your money right? A 14/16/7 champion is much scarier than a 4/0/3, even though the second one has a better KDR.

And in what you applied your gold? If you don't use the gold for Health or Armor items, he'll do the same amount of damage to you that he'd do if you were 0/10.

9 kills is fed. How much armor/health items did you have? Did you Heal? Did any of your teammates have heals/shields for you?

MATH TIME:

Ok lets say for arguments sake he was able to proc his passive:

After landing 3 basic attacks, Master Yi's next basic attack within 4 seconds strikes twice, dealing 50% AD physical damage which applies on-hit effects and can Critical strike icon critically strike.

ADD Alpha Strike (THIS CAN ALSO CRIT) 165 dmg + 100% ad

Then toss two more autos in there with any armor pen and on hit effects

Seems reasonable to me.
