"Play Again" shouldn't automatically reinv anyone you queued with

Because sometimes you don't want to play with them again and don't want them to know you're playing without them.

When I hit "play again," there should be a one-click "reinvite all," but it shouldn't happen automatically.

Thoughts?

If you don't want them to know that you're playing without them, I've got bad news for you, pal. The friends list tracks your status, including 'creating game,' 'in queue,' and 'in game.'

I see what I ended up writing, was not what I was thinking in my head. Let me clarify.

It's the difference between being being unfriendly and being blatantly rude.

#Scenario 1: Better

I hit the play again button, and invite the friends I want. The person who I don't want to play with looks and sees that I'm creating a game, and gets annoyed that I didn't reinv them. But maybe I had others who joined first, etc. It's forgivable.

#Scenario 2: Current

I hit the "play again" button and the person I don't want to play with joins. I quit the game and make another without them. They look on their friends list and see me creating it. *Now they know I remade the game so that I wouldn't have to play with them. Now they're mad at me.

Make sense?

Good clarification :)

Maybe something like clicking "Play Again" and then selecting who you want to play with could work? If other players select you, then you are queued together automatically...something along those lines.

I think that's unduly complicated, and if you select someone but don't end up queued with them, it has the same effect.

They currently have an interface for inviting people who you played with last game but didn't queue with. I'd like to see that same interface used for people you did queue with, or a button that says "Reinvite all from last game." Or something like that.

Yeah I could definitely see that. I do enjoy the "recommended players" feature.

you know, there's a button that says "home". This takes you to the landing page, where you can hit Play > PvP > SR > desired SR queue.

Takes all of 3 seconds.

Laziness like this is the reason I hate saying "I'm American". Literally takes 3 seconds to re-queue after a game, but that takes too long and requires too many button presses.

Honestly, it's less about laziness and more about intuitiveness.

I'll admit, I'm lazy, but I'm not that lazy - If I remembered that I queued with person X last time, and didn't want to play with him, I'll go home and remake the game that way. But more often than not, I'm just thinking, "Do I want to play again? Yeah, I'll play another." So I hit the button that says "Play again," not thinking that I'll invite that other guy I don't want to queue with, too.

This would be why I use the Home button when I play solo, and only use "Play Again" when I'm playing with other people (usually normals).

Completely circumvents the issue. ;)

Here's a scenario that actually happened:

I was playing with 3 other friends. We spammed our friends lists' and found a 5th person, and played a game with them. For whatever reason, they were not very pleasant to play with. I actually removed them from my friend list following the game. After the game, I hit 'play again' and they joined the game with me and my friends.
