No Champ is Broken: Who Agrees?
I'll agree that some champions are overpowered, but I feel like the word "broken" is thrown out too often. I honestly have never gotten beaten/killed by a champ and thought to myself that it was because the champion themselves is just "unfair." I always see counterplay possibilities, even with some of the most hated champs in the game, and am honestly baffled by some of the champions people single out. My friend was just telling me he feels Tryndamere is broken when we were talking about Ekko. I might have laughed out loud a little upon reading that text.
League of Legends has balance problems, yes, but I'm honestly more concerned about buffing the underpowered champions than nerfing the overpowered ones, largely because a lot of people just get too caught up to assess those "overpowered" champions fairly. Unless a champion is underpowered, you're sure to see at least one person nursing a pet hatred for them and calling for nerfs/fixes, or at least that's how it seems.
Who agrees with me that no champion is truly deserving of the "broken" label, disregarding legit bugs (like Kalista being able to AA during Malz ult, GA, etc., or Nid's invisible spears)? Who else thinks the community can be a bit too reactionary to any champion that's perceived to be the least bit "overpowered" or irritating to play against?
I'm expecting I'll be in the minority, but I want to know how far in the minority I actually am.
player...OMG RITO NERF MINIONS THEY SO OP :P
is ... and i think
is borderline because her burst is pretty unavoidable(and is pretty much always a one shot) but otherwise there certainly are strong champs but no one is broken
