Why does every champ have to have CC?

Only Yi and Kat have no CC at all right now.

I don't think every single champ needs to have CC.

But in answer to your question, I guess cc is necessary on almost everything because it gives Riot an excuse to release champions with insane mobility. Also, without an abundance of cc, movement speed would be an incredibly powerful stat and would likely require nerfing boots and base movement speeds to compensate.

Here's the reasoning, Yi has mobility via Q and Ult and Kat haa mobility via E and her passive affecting her E. No mobility=CC Mobility=CC(not entirely)

nid traps dont slow the only way she slows is if she has a item 3116 , item 3025 , or a item 3022 what move slows of sivirs? her Q boomerang? her W auto bouncy thing or her spell sheild? her R that makes her and her team run super fast

Sivir has a slow too.

Sivir does not have a slow actually, her passive increases her own movement speed on hitting enemy champions with abilities or basic attacks. And her ult is a mass speed up, as most people already know.

Nidalee works in a similar manner. She does not have a slow, however she gains bonus movement speed when traveling through brushes, her traps simply apply magic damage and grant you vision of the target affected for 4 seconds.

I mean, technically Zed's E, Shadow Slash, has a slow when cast by a shadow hitting a target, but that barely counts...

because mobility and CC are the 2 strongest things a champion can have right now, and due to how abundant both of those things are, creating a champion without them would make them catastrophically weak, and in order to become "balanced" they would need to have so much damage that they'd take over the game entirely.
