Taric needs More

He is really good as a tank support in ARAM especially if you get the snowball summoner. He is average if played really well on summoner's rift, I still like him, but I do feel his stun is either too long cd, or too short duration, one or the other needs a buff. I feel everything else about his kit is alright. Perhaps instead his W could also give him a movespeed buff for each enemy hit on top of what it does now, IDK.

Dazzle Rank 1, 18s cooldown, 1.2s stun duration Rank 5. 14s cooldown, 1.6s stun duration with 40% CDR, 14s becomes 8.4s

Blitz Power Fist Rank 1, 9s cooldown, 1s knockup duration Rank 5, 5s cooldown, 1s knockup duration with 40% CDR, 5s becomes 3s

Blitz's E is almost as good as Dazzle, with a much lower cooldown (melee, but still), and he still has Grab, and this is one of the main things that makes Taric viable. His ult and W are awesome, but they both force you to get very close every time

The main reason (IMO) is that he doesn't have enough to make up for being melee. The stun is potentially about the only thing that could make up for his lack of range. Alistar, Leona, Blitz, Thresh(not melee but close) have gap closers and more cc to make up for being melee, which also gives them a huge advantage over Taric in (most) situations. Taric is slightly more tanky than the other 4 listed, but I feel it doesn't make up for all they have.

• Blitz has Q and E for cc, and W to speed himself up
• Thresh has Q and E for cc, use Q to gap close, and ult can also be considered CC
• Leona has Q and E for cc, and use E to gap close
• Alistar has Q and W for cc, and can also use W to gap close

Because of this I end up having to build movespeed on him to keep up with any champ with any sort of range or cc, or just get cc'ed by everyone and become nearly useless, and with more movespeed I have less option to build tanky or support items.

I know that if he was buffed, he would probably have to be nerfed in some way for ARAM. I actually really like his design overall, but compared to other supports he is lacking.
