Lux 'Change' feels like a Nerf
While I can't claim to be much good at Lux (M6), I am surprised that Riot referred to this as a change/shift of power, rather than a nerf. I was expecting to feel the power more elsewhere, but really it just feels like they've reduced E radius and that's it. The increased projectile speed for Q doesn't seem to make much of a difference, and I had no trouble landing it before. Nor was there ever any mention of people complaining that it's hard to land, in my experience. Outside of the laning phase, during which I can still use E pretty much almost as effectively as before, is where the reduced radius really hurts: Not only is it less effective in team fights (smaller radius forces you to go closer to the fighting in order to hit the squishier champs), but it's also used as a kiting tool, to stop the many mobile champs out there getting at you.
As Lux supp, you see a gank coming and essentially have two options, E and Q, to prevent a successful gank. W helps a little, but if Volibear for example catches your adc, W ain't helping.. You have to hit Q now, because the E slows them down for noticeably less time, since it covers that much less space. Might be an idea to increase the slow % to balance this change - at least then you could kite with it better. Considering lux has about as much mobility as a sausage, this change feels insufficiently thought out. In my last game as Lux I felt like a sitting duck while flash was on cooldown. To be honest, I don't even know why they bothered changing her, when there are much more janky/outdated abilities/champs out there
