Is Vi weak or is Lucian op?

Just had a game where I was Vi with a fed Lucian on the other team. From what I gather, Vi excels at dispatching and picking squishies. This game however, I could do nothing against Lucian 1v1.
I would even catch him off guard with Q out of a bush, AA-E-AA-E-Ult and I would be dead by the time I got him down to 20% hp, started feeling a lil' weak at that point. Granted, he was lvl 18 and I was lvl 16 in this instance. I'd built the following , while he had Deaths Dance, BOTRK, Essence Reaver and IE.

HALP WHAT MORE CAN I DO

Lucian specializes in self peel and kiting. All he needs to do to win this 1v1 is wait until your ult hits and then kite you to death. As Vi, you should be focusing Lucian but do so with your team nearby. Single him out and kill him then focus on either peeling for your carries or jumping into their mage.

There is your issue. In any situation where someone is fed, they will most likely win the fight regardless of which champion is better or in the meta. Been getting some wins with Vi in high Plat against a lot of meta junglers (Kha'Zix etc.), if you play her right she is still good.

Melee champs can't 1v1 a fed Lucian. This has always been true even when he's sucked, and Lucian is on the weaker end right now.

If lucian gets something like item 3153 item 3071 item 3046 item 3812 item 3026 with a 3 level advantage there isn't very much in the game that can hope to dual it. You basically have to land your cc and then burst him to death with teammates.

If you're two levels lower than someone and that person is fed you should never beat them in a 1v1 unless they mess up. Doesn't matter who you're playing and it doesn't matter who they're playing. Gold and levels trumps counters.

Tbh I don't think Triforce is that good on Vi. I think death dance is better, helps more with Vi's nice AD scaling and gives you some life steal along with her passive makes for a good combination.
