Concern for Harambe

So Wukong's 1.5 second invisibility is now a lot less useful in fights... What the flying spaghetti monster is this shimmering non sense? So Wuking no longer has any safety to his all in engage!?... That sucks, he already struggles against most top laners. Not to mention his best use is the all in ultimate for the engage, but he by no means melts teams, he isn't an assassin. Which means he needs a way to disengage in order to not die, else he is just a suicide bomber unless he doesn't engage, which like I said is his best characteristic. His engage ultimate is all everyone on a team expects and loves from a Wukong ally. The only safety he had which was already a very short clone invisibility is now pretty much nerfed pretty hard. Sucks because I have always been a one trick Wukong, and have had a tough time getting comfortable with other champions. I am sure this will bring him down

You are considered "invisible" means pink wards no longer make it useless.

the shimmer doesn;t mean you can be targeted, it just givesothers a clue on your direction.

Shimmer will only shine 1 time on wukong clone since it only does so every second, and in a team fight with an engage Wukong will definitely get hit and activate shimmer. In which case half way through cloning the entire enemy team will know where he is. So many champions have AoE, it is cancer to Wukong. It surely made his already short invisibility that much more difficult to make use out of. In higher elo people don't fall for the clone trick often, and now they don't need to they will see where the real one is.

Thats a fair argument. But doesn't mean he's trash tier, just means he needs to be more careful when he does it.

I always thought of it as an escape rather than an engage, or a way to gank and be unseen for a short period.

you are right, it is "less useful in fights" but i don't think Riot wanted it that way.

it's pretty ability in my opinion, and he could use a rework to be honest, monkey king he is not.
