A Little Ethic question about Zoe's E

Honestly, i just came back to league a few days ago and am still catching up to most of the Things, but one Thing i noticed about Zoe's E is that apparently it is not a stun, but a new crowd control concept called Sleep.

Having said that, i took a look at the Skill and noticed...it feels like a delayed stun, nothing else.

the Concept of Sleeping is increasing fatigue and tireness until you are subconcious, so shouldn't Zoe's E Skill start off with a very light slow, that increases to a certain amount and then, over the Extended duration, apply the sleep? Kind of like a sped up version of wither from Nasus, except a sleep effect at the end?

my question is mostly ethical to be honest, and im really only curious about it.

Differences are that a stun last its duration unless cleansed or reduced by tenacity. Sleep lasts its duration unless cleansed, reduced by tenacity, OR take damage from a champ or tower(maybe a few other things, not sure).

If someone autos you .1 second into the sleep portion of cc, you are no longer cc'd. A stun would still have you sitting.

I know that, but i meant the application of the effect in itself. When her E hits you, you get a slow that is stable, then are "Asleep". What i am asking is, that if we are putting in the concept of sleeping, then shouldn't it be a growing effect to further represent realistic fatigue? My point addresses the slow before the sleep.

Game design in a slightly abstract game like League isn't strictly limited by physical qualities. See Corki's airship not allowing him to go over walls, Nami wearing boots, etc.

If realism were the goal, probably. But realism isn't so much as a NOD to realism in clean game mechanics, which this method does.

it feels like a delayed stun, nothing else.

Until you realise it also gives soft refresh upon making a champ sleep, it makes the victim take bonus true damage on the next attack on them on top of the damage of the attack itself, if you miss it will become an AoE trap that lingers on the ground and give the same effect to those that touch the trap, and it will go through terrain with unexplained range extensions.

Now here the thing above is the real ethical question.
