Say whut? new Quinn

Cherysse··1 votes·486 views

Im just gonna sit here and see people down-voting without reading.

-Im a Quinn main and I don't like the rework-

Let the downvotes come because they think Quinn mid is viable and fits with the meta -yeah sure-

PD: I played her in the jungle and I did quite well :D

she fits better in the jungle with her Roam power mainly because she is not taking the mid lane from the AP/Assasin that the team needs and because you are not visibe on the map to the enemy so they don't know when u are roaming.. go ahead DOWNVOTESSS.

I ended 10-2-8 :D, Leus (LAN)

Double PD: yes, I played her in S5 as a jungler too and she did better... DOWNVOTESSSS

You did not state why you didn't like the rework. So I don't understand why you even made this thread in the first place.

To see the people downvoting, you cannot say you dislike the rework because the people are just gonna downvote you, it seems you cannot say anything or even do a reasoning about why Quinn mid isn't trully viable on the meta and why Quinn ADC is now even less viable because, even if your reasoning seems correct people are gonna downvote you and they are not gonna come to reason with you.

In the other hand I am talking about another thing; I played Quinn on the jungle and I did quite well (10-2-8), and I played her in many games today (in the jungle) and I won :D (she is a better jungler than a mid)

Say the rework is not gonna work, give reasons = downvotes you are salty and we are not going to reason with you.

Oh Ok, I get that and good job. I played a game as Jungle Swain once and carried something like 15-0. I would say Quinn is best as an ADC because she has an interruption and the single target damage with passive attack+ E(don't forget about the interruption)+ passive attack can be Dynamic, and high single target damage is good for focusing an adc, like how Akali wrecked you when she roamed bot yesterday - 3 years ago idk but everyone has gotten wrecked by Akali once in their life but if you are afraid of reasoning why Quinn is bad as an ADC I will never know ur opinion as to why.

Because she has a short range, now she has no scapes and nothing to compensate for building Glass Cannon + Full Squishy and with a really low range. Other ADC's can do the traditional ADC job better.

Instead she gets really rewarded for building AD off-tank, and that is why she is played in top, and because she can keep a melee at bay, and this is also the reason why she is good in the jungle, the jungle rewards her for being a semi-tank.

She is really dependent on snowballing now, if she does not get kills with the roam she will loose farm and gold. Also it is easy for a team to notice when a support is alone on botlane (or when botlane is empty). The problem is the same on the midlane and is even worst because you have to fight champions that can outrange you, poke you and burst you down, and you hurt the team composition because you loose the AP carry or the Assassin as said.

In the jungle no one knows when u are roaming, the jungle monsters can't poke you and her ganks are really scare, all her powers are good for ganking (ALL OF THEM -they always were good at it-). Her Passive can allow her to track an enemy on the bushes, the Q is good to burst down an enemy, her W is good to chase and Scape for the passive, her E is so damn good to slow down an enemy and kill it, and her ult is now super good to enter and gank (and roam), even if I miss the assasination (which I prefer, but I will adaptate.... I believe).

Also her whole new focus is to create uneven fights, a gank is an uneven fight, and as a jungler she can create uneven fights quickly, one after the other in a row, it is really good.

Try practicing using E on an enemy and jumping backwards over terrain. She doesn't have Caitlyn good range but I don't think that it's extremely short. I'm not denying that she is feast/famine. And I think she is one horrible pick for mid lane too. I agree that she has very good ganks, but I'm a little doubtful of her clear time/sustain. I can't visualize how having a double digit number less base AA range will affect her greatly in the bot lane, and aren't you supposed to kill the outer turret before you start roaming?

Cherysse1 votes

Another point! the turrets! hahahaha.

Well I used to be able to jungle quite easily with her (I started with E at Red Camp), but now Harrier deals less damage and it affects my game in the first level, still If I manage to kite the Red Creep well I'll go ahead and gank a lane. I usually get item 2033 as a core item now because it grants me sustain and I can use it to help me when I am ganking, and it is good with summoner 14

I can definitely see her getting passed the frog with E at level one, but branching off from that I'm not too sure about. I would choose item 2032 over item 2033 ANY DAY. more sustain, you can get stacks while farming. I would also like summoner 4 over summoner 14 because Quinn is mostly squishy and she needs a decent escape when terrain isn't nearby.

Honestly since I started using summoner 14 I noticed how little she needs flash, also item 2033 heals a lot more life than item 2032 in each charge, and Corruption Flask allows you to have extra damage when you gank. Also if you need experience just take the crab, she does well in the jungle because she is able to kite the monsters with her autos and with her E, also if you use the E well you can interrupt their autoattack animation, causing them to be super slowed and you get on range again without taking damage. If you kite them well the sustain wont matter. Also her ult is really good to clear the jungle, just spam it when you are up to start a creep camp and then use your Q, it will erase the lesser monsters.

Check my thread about why the Jungle is harder and you will see that item 2032 doesn't have too much worth. Instead item 2033 grants more regen per charge AND increases your PVP capacities. item 2033 + summoner 14 + Thunderlords Decree is a sure kill for you.

I like having summoner 4 on any champ, except MasterYi where I like summoner 6 and item 3142. I can see how you would like using item 2033 more than item 2032. One instance where I believe item 2032 is better is when you have one of the following. Either Devourer Enchantment or Strength of the Ages Keystone. This is because both of these require extended farming. item 2033 gives only 3 charges before you have to go back to get any more. item 2032 gives infinite if you keep clearing, and you will be able to keep clearing because you wont run out of health or mana. The other instance is the gold cost, they differ by 100. So, if you have 350 (because you have item 2031 ) gold, you can either get item 2033 OR item 2032 AND a item 2043 for red buff or blue buff. Which I personally like getting, as a item 2043 at my red when I am jungler has gotten me over 30 memorable kills on Shacos that have tried to take a item 2043 ed red buff camp. However, if you use item 1400 item 1408 item 1412 or item 1402 item 1410 item 1414 I can see how item 2033. You don't need to clear the jungle an awful lot, and item 2033 increases the damage you have when you gank. Maybe you have changed my mind about item 1402 item 1410 item 1414 junglers, but that is about it. I still like item 2032 for the other 3. I can see how if you managed to kite all the jungle monsters you could clear them easily, but wouldn't they run out of patience?

Cherysse1 votes

Nope, it depends where you are running, just kite them near their spawn area, and let them hit you when they are loosing too much patience.
