I feel like Zeal items have to low of combine costs for how much of a power spike they are currently
Let us look at Phantom dancer during the Nami patch compared to now
Nami Patch phantom dancer 2800 gold 50% attack speed 30% crit chance 5% movement speed Unique passive: Avoid Unit Collision
Current Phantom dancer 2550 gold 45% attakc speed 30% crit chance 5% movement speed UNIQUE – SPECTRAL WALTZ: Grants Ghost ghosting and +7% movement speed while within 500 units of a visible enemy champion. UNIQUE – LAMENT: Grants 12% damage reduction against the last enemy champion hit (ends after 10 seconds out-of-combat).
Why does an item lose 5% attack speed and avoiding unit collision and then gain 2 really strong passives while costing 250 gold less?
And it is not jsut PD but Hurricane as well
Also Nami patch Runaan's Hurricane: 2750 gold 70% attack speed Unique passive: Your basic attacks fire minor bolts at 2 nearby targets, each dealing 10 + 50% of your Attack Damage. These apply on-hit effects.
Runaan's Hurricane today: 2600 gold +40% attack speed +7% movement speed +30% critical strike chance UNIQUE: +15 on-hit physical damage UNIQUE – WIND'S FURY: When Basic attacking, bolts are fired at up to 2 enemies near the target, each dealing 25% AD physical damage. Bolts can Critical strike critically strike and apply on-hit effects.
Both of these items offer more power now compared to several years ago but cost less overall.
Might Zeal items need a higher combine cost given they are generally intended for the class that historically is suppose to peak in power mid to late game?
