PSA: If you're thinking of playing Master Yi in ranked because you were pushed into Jungle...

Please consider trying out and learning this guy Warwick (in norms b4 ranked), he can still carry 1v5 but provides a whole lot more to the team and is not too mechanically complicated. Sure you need to land a skillshot now and then but even still, his build path and his jungle route is way more friendly to you jungle newcomers. Why expose yourself as a melee carry and being super squishy, when you can have almost juggernaut damage but the mobility of a hungry blood scented wolf? Try him out today.

Because Yi is easier than WW, all he really needs to do is right click. I think someone might have trouble picking WW up since he can't easily 100-0 someone, much less 2v1 like Yi can and carry a game.

WW is easier than Yi tbh.

WW can build very tanky and be effective, Yi can't, so Yi's mistakes are far more punishing. Yi has a lot of mechanics that aren't readily apparent (alpha strike allowing you to dodge abilities, W being an auto attack reset, outplaying with W's full duration into a double strike Q AA combo for unsuspected burst, etc.), though Warwick does have his Q through allowing him to avoid CC. Yi also requires more precise mechanics, orb-walking with his MS and AS while keeping in mind all threats to your person and assessing when to Q isn't easy. WW generally can do fine just sticking to one squishy until they die.

Master Yi's skillcap is honestly the most underrated in the game. It's not on par with someone like Riven or Azir's, but it's pretty high. Though admittedly his skill floor is pretty low. If that was what you were talking about you may be right.
