Gangplank needs to choose

Either he's a late game super pick and actually needs to work to get there, or he's an early game snowballer that has unique ways to rack up gold.

TF has his passives and his ult to rack up gold, but he's not a late game monster. Draven has his passive, but he also falls off. Why does GP have his global ult for kill snatching, his passives to gain gold, AND he's strong late game? Maybe that's the real problem with Gangplank?

Gangplank doesn't have a strong early game, he has a safe early game. There's a pretty big difference there, but you can still argue that he shouldn't have a safe early game

I never once said his early game was strong. I said he snowballs hard, as in he scales fast. TF can snowball, but his early game isn't strong. Draven has a strong early and snowballs, but his late game's pretty crap. GP has a safe early game, scales quickly, and proceeds to be really dang strong during the late game, anyway. Why?

His barrels just need a damage adjustment, or to have the slow decay over the duration.
