Every time i play CS:GO i sometimes hear other people speaking and most of the time they are funny things, i laugh, i get entertained and since im a casual player i prefer it than not to have it.

Sometimes there are people that put loud music or troll, guess what i mute them and poof they are out of my game.

Voice chat isnt for everybody, especially autists but who are you to turn off the music for the rest of us? that's why theres a mute button, heck we'l give you an AUTO-MUTE, so that you are in mute by DEFAULT, how great is that?

I generally oppose it because it just invites misuse and they still haven't figure out how to mute pings. There are programs for this exact purpose that suffice quite well. As for randoms, if the chat is just going to start muted, then it's probably just going to stay muted. It further separates communication across teams (IE: why didn't you hear my strategy?) and people will end up talking and typing both, which is probably just unnecessarily confuses things.

We have issues enough with the playerbase. Before we add more avenues for things to go wrong in, let's start correcting some of the wrongs already present. Like muting pings.

CS GO and League are two VERY different things (ive played a lot of CS i reached Master Guardian 2 so i know)

The CS GO community is a much friendlier and much less salty community and they usually dont yell at people too much. Ive lost my shit on a single person before and usually its warranted (When someone crouch walks around a corner that they know the guy is watching it with an awp..... fuckin moron) but in league I know that most people would not be able to control themselves

League of legends has a nasty habit of bringing out the worst in people. Ive seen it in myself and I can say without a doubt that VOIP would be bad for League of legends. While it does have an appeal the nature of league of legends and MOBAs in general usually lead to voice chat being more of a hindrance than a gain.

Another reason for this is due to the way an Iso metric game works a skilled player can tell whats going on around the map at any given moment. In CS GO since it is a FPS you cannot see all portions of the map or see how another player is doing. THis is why VOIP is so important. While in league you can see if 4 people are rotating top to cuck you. in CS you need a teammate to say "LONG LONG LONG LONG LONG".
