I used to main Aatrox in S5 and dropped him because other champs can do everything he does but BETTER
I try 7.5 aatrox and my god is he abysmall, 2 requirements for resurrection? c'mon weaker slower buggy

I know right. His winrate dropped so hard in just a few days. Can't blame that on ''new gameplay'' since he plays exactly the same beside his passive.
What hurts him the most is the loss of free attack speed as his passive fills up. Suuuure he does get a bit of attack speed and a bit of AD when it is completly filled... but that is far from making up from what he had baseline. Also his E turning into physical damage means that enemy laner can just build full armor and proceed to forget there's even an Aatrox in the game.
I do like that he isn't punished for bulding tanky anymore by removing his %health costs from his abilities.
But yeah that changes actually nerfed the champion they wanted to buff.
