The Server Change Simply Reversed the Coasts

I play League both at my college and at home. Since the server change, both locales experience ping in the hundreds, sometimes THOUSANDS! The college runs on a fiberoptic network, so the simple truth is that Washington State and certain parts of the West Coast, Alaska, and Hawaii have been forgotten. Please, Riot, turn the Portland server back on. I just got DCed TWICE in champ select because of ping (unrelated to my home's network connection), and that is unacceptable.

I don't want to get banned just because you refuse to make use of a server that already exists and is collecting dust.
