Yasuo's Wind Wall and Annie's Passive

Why does Yasuo's W not block Annie's stun?

I've seen many threads on this through searching and they all follow the same format. OP asks this question, everyone spams replies with "Projectile".

As true as that is, the wording of Annie's passive:

> After casting four abilities, Annie's next damaging ability stuns enemies it damages for 1.25 / 1.5 / 1.75 seconds.

If she uses her Q/W, it is a damaging ability. If her Q/W is blocked by the wind wall, the passive should start from 0 stacks. Just doesn't make sense.

because the stun isn't actually attached to her spells. it's applied to the target before her ability reaches the area.

That's why, even if you manage to flash Tibbers, you're still stunned.

In that case, either the passive needs changing or the passive needs rewording.

"Stuns enemies it damages" implies that it damages enemies first and then stuns them.
