January 19th, Riot Lyte said "a few weeks after the season start" (https://www.reddit.com/r/leagueoflegends/comments/41njpt/the_2016_ranked_season_updates_on_dynamic_ranked/) February 4th, Riot Lyte updates it to "a month or two" (https://www.reddit.com/r/leagueoflegends/comments/443wxg/riot_lytes_update_on_solo_queue/) March 3rd, a Tweet from @RiotSupport said it was "a month and a half" away (https://www.reddit.com/r/leagueoflegends/comments/48ydr1/solo_queue_confirmed_notscrapped_supposedly_1_12/) March 22nd from Riot Socrates, it became "...we're concerned about the impact solo queue will have on matchmaking as a whole, and we’re assessing how to best proceed. Once we've fixed match times and position selection, we’ll have a better update on other queues." (https://www.reddit.com/r/leagueoflegends/comments/4bil21/new_champ_select_update/) And in a reply to that March 22nd post Riot Socrates confirmed (emphasis mine): "We'll be honest: there's definitely a world in which solo queue doesn't return, but we'd rather keep it on the table as we work through these issues before making a final decision." Riot Korea Runetera has confirmed that solo queue is on hold for now. (This is a very painful subject because I feel like I have lied to summoners so I am pretty sad about the situation) 2월말까지는 솔랭에대한 업데이트가있었습니다. 처음에는 몇주걸릴꺼다가, 3월말쯤에 말이 바뀌었습니다. (Up until end of February, we received updates about Solo queue - at first we were informed that it will take few weeks for Solo Queue to come out, however at the end of March, things have changed) 일단은 잠정 중단되는걸로 알고있고 그뒤 업데이트는 없습니다. (For now, Solo queue development/launch is on hold and we have not received any update in that matter.) Hope you can learn to like Dynamic Queue because it's all you're going to get. But don't worry. URF is coming! Play URF. Enjoy URF. Do not pay attention to Solo Queue being scrapped completely. Do not pay attention to the man behind the curtain. Riot is going full Blizzard and Jagex here, doing what they want. The failure for Solo Queue to return will end up killing this game in the long term.

I love it, the more they try to ignore the issue, the more it keeps getting upvoted to the top of their own official forums.

Do you have any idea, how may road blocks you can have developing software. Much less how iterative developing all of this actually is?

I don't know what Riot's exact language was, but really we shouldn't take everything they say as a promise. (hell, they said the Tribunal would return, and we're still waiting for that.) But perhaps they should remind people that their statements are only projections that can change.

Exactly what players are they focusing on? The whales who can bring a profit to corporate or the players who establish the competitive scene and aspire others? Or is it some other archetype we don't know?

I really hope this game stop getting input (lessplayers/more players leaving; not buying skins...) cause thats what Riot deservers with those BS decisions

I'm just upset that Riot has begun to build a reputation on completely bullshitting their way through lots of situations, to the point where we(the community) are able to call their lies months before hand. And i'm noticing more and more that they are choosing to push their own agenda instead of taking advice from their entire player base. Its been a good 3 years Riot, but alas, we shall be parting ways soon.[zombie-nunu-tears]

Dumb question but I just don't understand the Solo Queue problem. I can still queue all by my lonesome just fine. Why can't everyone else?

On dekars stream he was talking to a rioter and he said there is internal conflict as to whether they will bring back soloq, he was saying it like he was dead ass. I dont know if i believe it, but i can still hope because of that rioter

The biggest issue I have with everyone saying that Riot lied is they just whine about it but don't make proposals on how to make Solo and Dynamic queues work together. You guys realize that this is the reason Riot is having conflicts within the company about re-releasing Solo Queue, right? They aren't sure how to implement it.

So instead of jumping on the "Riot lied" wagon, how about you guys and gals come together and start proposing ideas? At least the space you guys take up with this subject may actually be worth its space. Otherwise, it's just another day, another "Riot lied about Solo Queue" rant.

Technically speaking, it's not a daily reminder unless you put one up every day. But hey, I agree. While I'm not a big ranked person, it seems unlikely that Riot will be releasing Solo Queue anytime soon. More like anytime soon™.
