Even Reddit is saying the ADC role is trash

I know that these boards are full of people with rage boners for ADCs but a massive chunk of reddit literally agrees that ADCs are trash. Get out of your ADC hate echo chamber for a second and actually try the class for more than 10 games. Try playing someone like Tristana, Cait, Varus, hell even Kaisa for a few games. You'll find you literally do nothing the entire game and it feels awful. It feels especially awful because I'm willing to be there are games you do well or okay ish but theres nothing you can do because your mid lost lane and after jungle, they're the only lane that matters.

Dont try to reason. The boards believe ADCs sole purpose is to be chased down by melees for sport.

Also critmaster garen is a troll. Don't even bother trying to discuss with him.

Adc is not extremely weak, they are just not allowed to reach that point in the game where they are strongest. Most games would end before 30 minutes, and most adc powerspikes are strongest after 3 items, namely 30 minutes and after. It's like building a table but it won't stand properly until you put all 4 legs in place. Game length should be the main focus of the issue at hand, not the role in general.

Most of the high elo ADC mains are jumping ship or playing mages in the bot lane... but as long as bad players can't figure out how to stick to an ADC and not be easily kited they will always believe the role is busted.

So what? There are weak one(ones you said) and there are stronger ones(Draven, Luc, Kaisa, Mf even Ez). You can apply this to every role. Like have you tried playing (Katarina Azir Taliyah Ryze mid or Maokai Rumble GnarMonkeyKing top or Ivern Elise Fiddlesticks Skarner jng. See it works on other roles as well and yes I could join the wu or kata ganks and start crying for rework, but they are still at least playeble. And yeah I'm sorry for you, you are no longer the center of the universe for your team nor for enemy, they are no longer building these walls of tanks in front of you with that on shield giver next to you. Sad story :(

You guys are almost as bad as mage mains. Realize it might not be your champions' meta because, statistically, most marksmen are doing perfectly fine right now.

Adc isn't a weak weak role They just have a bad early but when they reach their power spike level , they are fine they are still " literally " the best class to carry in late game

Not to forget , the best class for making adc alive are enchanters , which are not popular that much in the current meta play enchanters and see how it will end

I don't think ADCs are the weakest class right now. The context of this meta is what hurts them.

During the laning phase damn near everyone is in your lane.

The basic formula to any match right now is that junglers gank mid in the hopes that they can get them ahead so they can 4 man gank the enemy bot lane and take dragon.

On top of that we have things like Pyke bot lane with his damage + safety.

There's too much damage in general, and that really hurts champions that are supposed to be weak early even if their support is good. It is a good time to be a cheesy AP support though.
