As someone who actually LEGIT earned the skin by convincing my friends to join in (excluding one smurf so I could get them to play with me), I am quite salty about giving the skin away randomly through the honor system.
Is there going to be any compensation for those who actually earned these skins back in season 3 and 4 before they were discontinued?

Paroe2 votesBoohoo. Facebook style "recruit" programs are ponzi like to begin with. If the recruitment program was still functional then youd have an actual point, but it was proven to be ineffectual due to cheating and riot removed it. The skins coming back as rewards for honor is a GOOD thing.
You already have the reward, why should you get anything more?

videorfeak2 votesConsidering there's skins that I want re-released (cough cough urfwick) and Riot's response is pretty much "But its not fair to those who already had it" and back when the limited skins were re-released they compensated the people who originally owned it; damn straight its only fair that everyone who had the skins before they were discontinued are compensated.

those were event skins though. ANd URf is an unfortunately ret-conned lore piece that riot wont return as seasonal because its "been off the market for so long".

I play the champs and skins and there's no vintage border.

Tophzilla1 votesI just play ARAM & bots. I didn't even know what an honor capsule is until I got one the other day & I got the medieval twitch skin. Didn't realize it was a rare skin until I tried it out in a bot game. Is this post rubbing salt in the wound? Probably. I'm terrible at twitch and I still like the Mafia skin more -- that pinstripe suit and tommygun, tho.
