Can Kog'Maw work mid lane as a second adc?

i know a little while ago tristana was used mid lane as a second adc and it was really powerful. i know Kog doesn't have the range tristana does without his w active but he has decent wave clear and once he gets a trinity a lot of damage as well. i have decent mechanics on kog'maw but i still need to work on it. how do you feel about kog'maw mid lane? i know i wanted to play wukong mid lane and people gave me alot of shit for it but in the end it ended up working for me and being one of my favorite things to play in this game.

Considering AP Kog works mid, I see no reason why an AD Kog couldn't work mid. The issue however is mobility. Kog doesn't have many escapes, and without a support to back him up, jungle ganks / high mobility mid laners can really stop him from farming up to that late game terror.

The reason tristana was being used mid was because of how safe she was. Her escape is almost unrivaled. And her harass was stupidly strong (not quite as much now), and her free attack speed steroid made her incredible as a second carry.

Kog'maw cant look after himself, and neeidng to babysit TWO adcs will just lead to disaster in a game.

Not to say it wont work, but it just isnt great.
