You people need to actually take time and just play her instead of throwing hissies about every little thing that annoys you about the update. If you're having troubles assassinating then here's something to try, don't melee form. W in at a safe distance and always, ALWAYS lead with E.

Seriously, Ethereal Chains is broken now, there's a reason Riot removed the slow from it. RE is easily your strongest spell, not only do you CC them if you get the full duration but you also proc your SoM and the second damage portion. Throw a Shatter Orb and you've got a TLD proc as well and in most cases, a dead enemy.

And please, don't give me this "but kiting for 1.5 seconds gets you blown up" No. Just No. You are playing an assassin, if you just dive recklessly without waiting for the right moment, you're good as dead always.

Honestly, I'm pretty sure this is easily the best rework out of all the assassins, because that's what is was. A rework, it wasn't a blatant buff nor was it a straight nerf like the others, it was a rework and it succeeded in m opinion.....well maybe a slight buff, she's waaaay less mana dependent than before now. Like I can't even stress how awesome that is.

The reason it's so awful is that what did she actually get that made her the deceiver?

Her RR is a walking blue trinket that maybe draws a stun a few times in a game. She can't use any of her deceptive abilities when escaping because it's tied to her ult, which will likely be on CD when she is running. She went from having 1 sec of invis on her old passive to 0.1 seconds, which she can't even use to juke with. You can't even use her clones to juke now because they're on a 2.5s timer - How is that going to help you escape? You can't even make any distance whatsoever between you and your clone because she lost the 1 sec invis, so an AOE will always hit both no matter what.

Yeah, she got wave clear. Yeah she has a Ryze passive now.

But this rework completely missed the mark on what it was supposed to do: make her more deceptive and sneaky. She is neither. I was actually really excited for all the stuff she was getting, but it's just so useless for what it was intended to do.

is assassin is supposed to have instantaneous burst people who don't know how to play against her cry and whine until Riot panders to them burst gets gated behind hard 1.5s lockout and a cooldown per target facepalm

??? There's nothing else to say though. If someone died to any pre-rework assassin, it is because they played badly, and thus, they deserved to be deleted instantly. And now, said assassins can no longer burst instantly because the ones who kept playing badly whined and whined instead of just getting better.

Ok guys, the OP has 1 game played on the reworked LeBlanc and has declared that she is fine as is. Therefore she must be fine as is, thank you for gracing us with your omniscient wisdom.

I think people are just mad that she plays more like a mage than a real assassin now. She certainly doesn't need buffs, that .8% passive scaling is insane, her damage is glorious, W > Q to instant clear waves and you get to roam constantly, why even fight your lane opponent? Her ult is fucking useless, wonky and a total joke though. It took me two games to even understand how the fuck it worked, that it has a secondary cooldown, that the range of the NEARLY global clone has no indicator, and then a wave of sadness hit me as I realized that you probably should be constantly spamming R in lane to keep it up in case a fight breaks out, which I believe to just be poor ass design. Every 15 seconds press R, for the whole game after you hit 6. WONKY.

She's not an Assassin anymore which is why I'm pissed: I know she is not weak by any sort of standard. Either RIot should add a longer invisibility to her RR, so she can be an illusion mage, or remove the 5 second buffer where she cannot use her passive, so she can be an assassin.

Honestly, if the Ult Clone wasn't locked behind the R's actual CD I think it would be fine. I've had times where I really needed it but I happened to be in a fight before and used a mimiced basic.

I think the idea was to make her use her ult more strategically. Prior to her rework, her ult really only acted as an extension to her spell combos. Perhaps a reduced cooldown might help, But I think it would be too much for a general ability. The only champ that gets a clone on a general ability is Wukong, but that clones effects are very limited. Over all, I feel like her fantasy would be better served with powerful illusions used strategically, than spamming smaller ones.

Just went to the wiki and found that the shadow of the rose potion had it's own Cooldown that was fairly high, but that's probably justified because of it's range. But Shadow of the Rose Also refunds Mimic's cooldown, so at maximum, you can have not one but two mimics on the field at ones. (I would say that's fair for "The Deceiver")

The cooldown on passive might be slightly more problematic. Considering everything gets faster as the game progresses.

People are mad because she is absolutely terrible. In a game I was 15/2, late game rolled around. No matter what I did, I couldn't kill their AP Teemo who was 9/10 within the 1.5s window. I blew all my abilities, and I was running voidstaff, roa, sorcs, rabadons, but it wasn't enough. This was a fucking Teemo.

You tell me how I was supposed to kill him? Tell me I wasn't playing well enough? Am I supposed to hope he's retarded and RR him and maybe bait a Q out of him? Am I supposed to run on-hit/AD so I can actually do consistent damage? He is point and click and could just continue autoing me through my combo, so there was absolutely nothing I could do.

Yes I'm pissed what they did to this champion. She is complete and utter trash. Easily one of the worst champions in the game.

People just usually build him a weird ass hybrid build which sucks.

Every other assassin has ways of reaching the backline and instantly doing damage. Leblanc has to DASH in (other assassins have stealth/blinks), use a spell, wait 1.5 secs, then use another one to do any amount of significant damage. How are you going to hit a chain when they entire enemy team is focusing u once u go in? There is no "right moment" to dash in. The enemy team is always going to prioritize peeling you off. Assassins play around and avoid damage while already going in, which leblanc can not do. Now, if you go in while a ryze has W up or any other cc, then yeah, that's a BAD time to go in. But there's never a GOOD time.

Leblanc is too reliant on the second spell. Other assassins have ways to do damage without their main ability, but leblanc has these awful scalings and base damages without the passive. How would you feel if they made it so your main has to hit a target once, do peanut damage for 1.5 seconds, then hit them again to do the damage of any other champion in the game?

Also, her chains aren't "insane" it got straight up nerfed. It just interacts with her passive well.

They land skillshots, but only the champions who have ways to land them, which leblanc does not have

Why do people always assume it's up to the person on the receiving end to dodge a skillshot? Guess what, your opponent is a human player too. And the chances are he will not just blindly throw his spell in your general direction anywhere above bronze 5.

I love her rework! I think it's great in terms of spacing out the damage but also giving her more utility and waveclear!

Yea I guess you just have to accept riot are moving her away from an assassin. Her kit isn't made to fight people 1vs 1 - she's more of a support Mage. Push your lane and help your team. Don't take kills and build more support items or somthing like rylais. See her as a champ like tf and Morganna now - just abit weaker with more short team mobility.
